EQUIPMENT SELECTION:

We can help you select and locate a kite, board, harness etc. which is right for you. We'll also be glad to show you how to setup, put away and maintain your equipment - generally as part of a lesson.

Our new equipment sales are concentrated on items which we often recommend and we can usually supply them at, or close to, the best prices.

We are authorized dealers for kite/kiteboard manufacturers Peter Lynn, Flysurfer, Cabrinha, and Ocean Rodeo and we also supply accessories from other top quality companies such as DaKine, NSI, Gath etc.

Please note, however, that we are NOT A SHOP. Generally, shops give lessons in order to maximize equipment sales which create the bulk of their income.

In contrast, our MAIN business is selling RELIABLE INFORMATION (as lessons) and our discounted equipment sales are primarily intended to facilitate our lesson sales.

As with every industry dependant upon product sales, kite shops are extremely motivated to purchase and sell as much product as possible in order to obtain quantity discounts from their suppliers. We DO NOT STOCK NEW KITES or KITEBOARDS. Although this means that our clients may have to wait for their orders to arrive, they can have more confidence that our recommendations are not influenced by a need to move out unsold stock.

Furthermore, we do not hesitate to inform our students of ANY and ALL of the various relatively negative aspects associated with particular models, brands and styles of kites etc. Therefore, our most detailed and thorough criticisms tend to pertain to the products which we use and recommend the most since we have the most experience with those products. This means that you'll always receive our most accurate and complete descriptions of the advantages and disadvantages associated with various products, and ESPECIALLY those which we recommend. Although positive product reviews abound in the industry's media, and we'll describe the positive qualities as well, you will find that impartial negative information is surprisingly difficult to come by - at least not until after the manufacturer releases a new model, the ad for which might mention improvement of features which the previous model had supposedly perfected.

The fact is that there are pros and cons to ALL the equipment and although we don't claim to be experts regarding all of it, we will always be willing to explain our conclusions and opinions regarding any of your equipment questions.

And you are always more than welcome to purchase equipment from any other source and use it for your lessons if you prefer.

MODIFICATIONS & MINOR REPAIRS:

If you need some help tweaking, repairing or adding to your equipment, we'll be glad to try to help you do it or do it for you at a reasonable price.

RENTALS:

Rent a trainer kite for $10, $20 or $30 for up to 60 days. This is the BEST way to jump start your learning and is a REALLY GREAT DEAL !

Our new RETURNABLE KITE PROGRAM provides the benefits of renting at a fraction of the cost and is the BEST way to maximize lesson results.

We generally purchase stuff in order to experiment with various modifications, to have parts on hand and to have a selection for students' needs.

We usually prefer to PAY IN TRADE. For example, we can give you a certificate good for any of our services. Perhaps you'd like some personal video created or would like to give a gift of lessons to a friend or spouse. We'll be glad to try to create a deal that's as beneficial as possible.

And we sometimes accept used equipment as partial payment for new gear. Besides getting a reasonable price for your stuff, you can save much of the hassle of trying to sell it yourself.

We also occasionally have GOOD USED EQUIPMENT for SALE.
